The first International Symposium on Late Complications after Childhood Cancer 2022 (ISLCCC 2022) was held in July 2022 and PanCareFollowUp was there!
The symposium featured emerging research results and insights from real world clinical experience to promote research collaborations and improve survivorship care throughout the world. It focused on the exchange of innovative ideas among pediatric and medical oncologists (fellows, residents), scientists, psychologists, radiotherapists, nurse practitioners, oncology nurses, primary care providers, survivors, and other associated allied health professionals who, in the past, have attended from Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, Canada and the United States.
Rebecca van Kalsbeek presented two posters about PanCareFollowUp: ‘European PanCareFollowUp Recommendations for surveillance of late effects of childhood, adolescent, and young adult cancer‘ and ‘The PanCareFollowUp Care Intervention: a European harmonised approach to person-centred guideline-based survivorship care after childhood, adolescent and young adult cancer‘.
