The 54th Annual Congress of International Society of Paediatric Oncology was held in a hybrid format in Barcelona after two years of virtual meetings. It was great to see a return to in person interactions for so many!
On the 28th of September, Dr Riccardo Haupt (IGG) presented ‘The European PanCareFollowUp Survivorship Care Model: the Italian Experience’. On the same day, CCI Europe‘s Hannah Gsell presented the PanCareFollowUp project, as well as our sister project PanCareSurPass.
PanCareFollowUp was also represented at the meeting by Eline Bouwman, a PhD candidate at RUMC. on the 1st of October, Eline presented the ‘Prevalence and risk factors of unhealthy lifestyle behaviors among survivors of childhood cancer in the Netherlands; a DCCSS LATER 1 questionnaire study’. The audience included around 100 (pediatric) oncologists, researchers, survivors, parents.
