PanCare and SIOP Europe joined forces to deliver a virtual course on Late Effects in Childhood and Adolescent Cancer Survivors on 13 – 14 Jan 2022. Aimed at healthcare professionals, different perspectives from inter- and multidisciplinary late effects specialists from across Europe were shared alongside the perspective of survivors. Interactive case discussions and tools for daily practice were part of the course as well.
PanCare’s EU-funded research projects were presented (PanCareSurFup, PanCareLIFE, PanCareFollowUp, PanCareSurPass). PanCareFollowUp’s Coordinator Prof. Leontien Kremer also shared how clinical guidelines for late effects are developed, based on the best available research evidence.
